Construction of a fast tram route from ul. Kasprzaka to Wilanów on the following sections: from Puławska to ul. Św. Bonifacego and the Stegny loop, and from ul. Św. Bonifacego to ul. Branickiego” – re-selection of the bid of Budimex S.A.
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 10.03.2022 Tramwaje Warszawskie Sp. z o.o. re-selected the bid of Budimex S.A. in the public procurement unlimited tender procedure titled Design and execution of works as part of the investment project titled: “Construction of a fast tram route from ul. Kasprzaka to Wilanów on the following sections: from Puławska to ul. Św. Bonifacego and the Stegny loop, and from ul. Św. Bonifacego to ul. Branickiego”.
The Ordering Party re-selected the bid of the Budimex S.A. after cancellation of the selection procedure, about which the Company informed in the current report No. 7/2022 of 10 February 2022.
Bid value: 557,254,951.22 net, of which:
Basic scope – PLN 375,032,582.17 net
Options – PLN 182,222,369.05 net
The Ordering Party may exercise the option right within 10 months from the date of contract conclusion.
Contract commencement date: date of the contract conclusion by both Parties
Works completion date:
Basic scope – 22 months from the date of contract conclusion
Options – 20 months from the date indicated in the Ordering Party’s declaration on exercising the option right.
Guarantee period for the main works: 60 months
Warranty period: 60 months
Advance payment: 10% of the total net value of the basic scope
Payment terms: 30 days from the day of delivery of a correctly issued VAT invoice to the Ordering Party by the Contractor
Bank performance bond: 5% of gross bid value
Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 20% of total gross remuneration
Contractual penalties paid by the Contractor do not differ from the market standards.
Payment of a contractual penalty does not prejudice the Ordering Party’s right to seek compensation exceeding the amount of stipulated contractual penalty in accordance with general principles, including compensation resulting from the loss of EU funding, if the loss of this funding was due to reasons attributable to the Contractor.
Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.
The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 167,645 thousand net.
