Design and construction of S17 Piaski-Hrebenne express road, Section 6: from the Zamość East junction, junction included to the Zamość South junction, junction included — the bid of Budimex SA ranked highest
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 28.06.2022, the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Branch in Lublin, informed the Company that its bid was awarded the highest score in the tender procedure for: “Design and construction of S17 Piaski-Hrebenne express road, Section 6: from the Zamość East junction, junction included to the Zamość South junction, junction included, with length of approx. 12.430 km”.
The aforementioned information does not mean selecting the bid of Budimex S.A. as the most advantageous one, as the procedure concerning the bid evaluation has not yet been finally completed.
Bid value: PLN 358,239,357.00 net
Works commencement date: the day after the day on which the Contract is signed by the other Party
Works completion date: 36 months
Guarantee period: 96 months
Warranty period: 96 months
Advance payment: from 1% to 10% of the Accepted Contract Amount
Payment terms: within 30 days of the date of delivery of VAT invoices to the Employer, issued for the amounts certified in Payment Certificate
Bank performance bond: 10% of the total gross price specified in the Bid
Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 15% of the net works value
Payment of a contractual penalty does not prejudice the Ordering Party’s right to seek damages exceeding liquidated damages provided for in the contract, in accordance with general principles, including those resulting from the loss of EU funding, if the loss of this funding was for reasons attributable to the Contractor.
Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.
The value of the Contract exceeds the threshold of PLN 158,224 thousand net.
