Conclusion of an agreement with Bechtel Polska Sp. z o.o. in connection with the project of building a nuclear power plant in Poland
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that as part of the project for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Poland in the municipality of Choczewo, which is to be implemented by the Bechtel-Westinghouse consortium for the benefit of Polskie Elektrownie Jądrowe Sp. z o.o., Budimex S.A. concluded on 5 August 2026 with Bechtel Polska Sp. z o.o. an agreement for the execution of earthworks and preparation of the construction site, including:
– leveling the area for investment,
– temporary access and transport roads, parking lots and material storage yards,
– temporary technical and social facilities,
– construction of temporary open ditches draining rainwater and erosion and silt protection systems.
Contract value: PLN 208,878,514.00 net
Contract start date: date of conclusion of the agreement
Contract end date: August 18, 2028
Warranty period: 24 months after the date of acceptance of the works by Bechtel Polska Sp. z o.o. or takeover for use. Bechtel Polska Sp. z o.o. has the right to extend the warranty for further 12-month periods for an additional fee.
Warranty period: 60 months counted from the date of takeover to use
Prepayment: none
Payment Terms: 30 days from the date of delivery Bechtel Polska Sp. z o.o.VAT invoices
Bank guarantee of good performance: 10% of the total contract value
Maximum value of the contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: The total amount of contractual penalties charged may not exceed 10% of the total value of the contract
The limit of liability of Budimex S.A. is 100% of the value of the contract with certain exclusions acceptable for this scope of works. Bechtel Polska sp. z o.o. is entitled to limit the subject matter of the contract.
Other contractual conditions do not deviate from market standards.
The value of the offer exceeds the threshold of PLN 188,771 thousand net.
