Flood protection and achievement of a favourable water balance in the area of the Central Oder River – backwater of the Malczyce barrage – selection of the bid of Budimex S.A.
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 15.07.2023 the State Water Management Authority Polish Waters (PGW WP) with its registered office in Warsaw selected the bid of Budimex S.A as the most advantageous one in the tender procedure titled: Flood protection and achievement of a favourable water balance in the area of the Central Oder River – backwater of the Malczyce barrage.
The information that our bid was rated the highest in the tender procedure was published on 09 June 2023 in the current report no. 38/2023.
Bid value:
Basic scope – PLN 116,532,487.63 net
Options – PLN 1,017,607.10 net
The Ordering Party may exercise the option until the end of 2025.
The total value of orders with the same Ordering Party in the last 12 months amounted to PLN 176,784,990.06 net. The highest-valued order is the aforementioned bid.
Terms and conditions of the highest-valued order:
Bid value: PLN 117,550,094.73 net
Works commencement date: from the date of signing the contract
Works completion date: 15.06.2026 (winter periods included)
Guarantee period: up to 8 years
Statutory warranty period: up to 8 yearsAdvance payment: PLN 20,000,000.00 gross
Payment terms: 30 days from the day of delivery of a correctly issued VAT invoice to the Ordering Party by the Contractor
Bank performance bond: 5% of gross remuneration
Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 15% of gross remuneration
The Ordering Party has the right to claim additional compensation under the Civil Code if the damage exceeds the amount of the contractual penalties.
Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.
The total value of orders with the same Ordering Party in the last 12 months has exceeded the threshold of PLN 172,381 thousand net.
