The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 23.01.2026 the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways Łódź Branch informed the Company that its bid was evaluated the highest in the tender procedure for the "Reconstruction of the A2 motorway on the section of the Łódź Północ junction (without the junction) border of the Łódź and Mazowieckie voivodeships with additional lanes. Section A from km 365+261 to km 389+678, implemented as part of the project entitled: "Widening of the A2 motorway on the section of the Łódź Północ junction (without the junction) border of the Łódzkie and Mazowieckie voivodeships with additional lanes" and renovation of the A2 motorway on the A0 section from km 361+800 to km 365+261"
The above does not mean that the offer of Budimex S.A. was selected as the most advantageous, as the tender evaluation procedure has not been finally completed.
Offer value:
Basic scope: PLN 352,775,669.38 net additionally
Option 1: PLN 383,880.76 net and/or
Option 2: PLN 15,267,887.10 net
Date of commencement of works: no later than within 6 months from the conclusion of the Agreement by both Parties
Date of completion of works: 17 months from the Commencement Date in the event of the Ordering Party failing to exercise the Right of Option
18 months from the Commencement Date in the event that the Ordering Party exercises the Option Right No. 1,
21 months from the Commencement Date in the event that the Ordering Party exercises the Option Right No. 2 or the Option Right No. 1 and the Option Right No. 2
Warranty period: up to 10 years
Warranty Period: The Warranty Period for Defects is 5 years from the date indicated in the Certificate of Acceptance
Advance payment: from 1% to 10% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount
Payment terms: 30 days from the date of delivery of a correctly issued VAT invoice by the Contractor to the Ordering Party
Bank guarantee of good performance: 10% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount Maximum value of the contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 20% of the Accepted Net Contract Amount
The Ordering Party reserves the right to claim supplementary damages transferring the amount of contractual penalties to the amount of the damage actually suffered, incurred or may arise in connection with the non-performance or improper performance of the Agreement by the Contractor.
Other contractual conditions do not deviate from market standards.
The value of the offer exceeds the threshold of PLN 182,357 thousand net.
