Design and execution of construction works as part of the project "Works on the railway line 148, section Pszczyna - Żory ” - selection of the bid of Budimex S.A.
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 26.09.2023 PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. in Warsaw informed the Company that its bid was selected as the most advantageous one in the tender procedure for: Design and execution of construction works as part of the project ”Works on the railway line 148, section Pszczyna – Żory ”.
The information that our bid was rated the highest in the tender procedure was published on 10 August 2023 in the current report no. 50/2023.
Bid value: PLN 258,470,208.30 net
including:
– net value of the Works: PLN 195,687,093.10
- Conditional Remuneration: PLN 61,848,315.20
- the amount of replacement transport costs: PLN 934,800.00
Contract commencement date: from the date of signing the contract
Works completion date: 31 months from the Contract date
Guarantee period: 72 months
Warranty period: 72 months
Advance payment: none
Payment terms: 30 days from the date of receipt by the Ordering Party of a properly issued invoice
Bank performance bond: 5% of gross bid value
Relevant terms and conditions of the contract which are characteristic of this contract, in particular those which differ from the terms and conditions commonly used for the type of contracts: The project is planned to be implemented with the funds of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan
Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: Liability on general terms, limit of contractual penalties in the amount of 20% of the net remuneration or 30% of the net remuneration if the Ordering Party charges a penalty for withdrawal.
The imposition of a contractual penalty does not deprive the Ordering Party of the right to claim compensation on general terms in excess of the amount of the stipulated contractual penalty, including that resulting from the loss of co-financing from the European Union, if the loss of this co-financing was due to reasons attributable to the Contractor.
Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.
The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 172,381 thousand net.
