Design and construction of S17 Piaski-Hrebenne express road, Section 6: from the Zamość East junction, junction included to the Zamość South junction, junction included – signing the contract
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 14 October 2022 the contract has been concluded between Budimex SA and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Branch in Lublin in the tender for: ““Design and construction of S17 Piaski-Hrebenne express road, Section 6: from the Zamość East junction, junction included to the Zamość South junction, junction included, with length of approx. 12.430 km”.
The information that our bid was rated the highest in the tender procedure and that our bid was selected as the most advantageous one was published on 28 June 2022 in the current report no. 38/2022 and on 23 August 2022 in the current report no. 50/2022.
Contract value: PLN 358,239,357.00 net
Works commencement date: from the date of signing the contract
Works completion date: 36 months (the winter periods, i.e. from December 16 to March 15, are not included in the execution of the works; the winter periods, i.e. from December 16 to March 15, are included in the design period)
Guarantee period: 10 years
Warranty period: 60 months from the date indicated in the Work Acceptance Certificate
Advance payment: 1% – 10% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount
Payment terms: 30 days from the day of delivery of a correctly issued VAT invoice to the Ordering Party by the Contractor
Bank performance bond: 10% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount
Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 20% of the Accepted Contract Amount Net
The Ordering Party reserves the right to demand supplementary compensation transferring the amount of contractual penalties to the amount of the actual damage suffered, arising or likely to arise due to non-performance or improper performance of the contract by the Contractor.
Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.
The contract value exceeds the threshold of PLN 158,224 thousand net.
