Design and construction of the S8 express road at the section from Wrocław to Kłodzko, task 3 from Jordanów Śląski junction (without the junction) to Łagiewniki Zachód junction (with the junction) with the length of approx. 11.2 km – selection of the bid of Budimex S.A.
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 26 September 2023, the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Branch in Wrocław, informed the Company that its bid was awarded the highest score in the tender procedure for: Design and construction of the S8 express road at the section from Wrocław to Kłodzko, task 3 from Jordanów Śląski junction (without the junction) to Łagiewniki Zachód junction (with the junction) with the length of approx. 11.2 km.
The information that our bid was rated the highest in the tender procedure was published on 26 September 2023 in the current report no. 57/2023.
Bid value: PLN 289,117,330.00 net
Works commencement date: a day after the Contract is signed by the other Party
Works completion date: 39 months from the conclusion of the Contract
Guarantee period: 96 months
Warranty period: 96 months
Advance payment: from 1% to 10% of the Accepted Contract Amount
Payment terms: within 30 days of the date of delivery of VAT invoices to the Employer, issued for the amounts certified in Payment Certificates
Bank performance bond: 10% of the total gross price specified in the Bid
Relevant terms and conditions of the Contract, which are characteristic of this Contract, in particular those which differ from the terms and conditions commonly used for the type of contract: none
Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 15% of the net works value
Payment of a contractual penalty does not prejudice the Employer’s right to seek damages exceeding the stipulated contractual penalty in accordance with general principles, including those resulting from the loss of EU funding, if the loss of this funding was for reasons attributable to the Contractor.
Other terms and conditions of the Contract do not differ from the market standards.
The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 172,381 thousand net.
