“Execution of construction works and preparation of a detailed design and execution of construction works for the installation of railway traffic control equipment and railway telecommunication network equipment, including the provision of post-guarantee services for this equipment on the Tychy – Wisła Bridge junction post section” - signing of the contract
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 13 October 2023, the contract has been signed between Budimex SA and PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. for: “Execution of construction works and preparation of a detailed design and execution of construction works for the installation of railway traffic control equipment and railway telecommunication network equipment, including the provision of post-guarantee services for this equipment on the Tychy – Wisła Bridge junction post section, as part of the project titled “Works on basic passenger lines (E 30 and E 65) in Silesia, stage I: line E 65 on the Tychy – Wisła Bridge section”.
The information that our bid was rated the highest in the tender procedure selected as the most advantageous one was published on 13 February 2023 in the current report no. 11/2023 and on 28 April 2023 in the current report no. 30/2023.
Contract value: PLN 909,518,070.28 net, including:
Basic scope: PLN 903,228,028.32 net
Option right (1, 2): PLN 6,290,041.96 net
Works commencement date: The Commencement Date shall be the day following the signature of the contract by the other party
Works completion date: 182 months from the Commencement Date
Guarantee period: 72 months
Warranty period: 72 months
Advance payment: 10% of the Accepted Contract Amount for the Basic Scope, if the amount is recognised as an eligible cost
Payment terms: 30 days from the day of delivery of a correctly issued VAT invoice to the Ordering Party by the Contractor
Bank performance bond: 5% of the gross price for the Basic Scope; 0.3% of the net Contract Price plus VAT for Option Right 1
Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 30% of the agreed Contract Amount less the conditional amount and the costs of replacement transport specified in the Valuation, plus VAT
Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.
The contract value exceeds the threshold of PLN 172,381 thousand net.
