Performing construction work connected with modernising line 9 - the reception of Information concerning the selection of Budimex S.A. offer
The Management Board of Budimex SA hereby announces that, on 9th February 2011, it received information concerning the reception of a letter from PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe SA, residing in Warsaw and acting on behalf of the Ordering Party: PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe SA Centrum Realizacji Inwestycji (Investment Performance Centre), Szczecin branch; the letter said that the offer of consortium formed by the following companies: Budimex SA (leader, 50%), Tchas Polska Sp. z o.o. (partner, 30%) and Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex SA (partner, 20%) was chosen as the most beneficial one in unlimited public procurement proceedings concerning “Performing construction work – modernisation of line 9 at its section from km 184.800 to km 236.920 within the area managed by Local Management Centre residing in Iława.”
- Value of the contract: PLN 758,264,998.15 (net amount)
- Work commencement date: after the Contractor is notified by the Engineer of the date at least 7 days in advance
- Work completion date: 30 months after the commencement date
- Guarantee period: 3 years
- Financial terms and conditions:
- Payment: 30 working days from the Ordering Party receiving a valid VAT invoice
- Bank guarantee of successful completion: 5% of the total gross amount
- Contractual penalties paid by the Contractor: 0.05% of the total gross amount per every day of delay Maximum amount of the compensation shall be 10% of the total gross amount
- Contractual penalties paid by the Ordering Party: not applicable
- The value of the contract exceeds 10% of the equity of Budimex S.A.
