Budimex has launched a student internship programme for 2024. The largest general contractor in Poland has prepared approx. 250 places for people studying engineering, but also in the field of HR, finance or IT. Applications can be made via the www.akademiabudimex.pl website. The new program site has m.in. a map of locations where – from March to September – internships can be completed. There are also profiles – selected from among 500 – employees of the company, who started their professional adventure as apprentices.
“Find your key to success” is the next edition of the Budimex Academy Internship Programme, which has benefited a total of 1,782 people. Budimex offers m.in to students dreaming of a career in the construction industry. remuneration for internships, medical care, support of a dedicated supervisor, gaining valuable experience with the leader of the Polish construction market, as well as the possibility of permanent employment.
“Our program, year by year, is becoming more and more popular. Last year’s edition turned out to be record-breaking – as many as 363 students completed internships. It is also worth mentioning that young people highly value the experience and skills gained here – as many as 98% of them expressed satisfaction with taking part in the program, and 84% of them expressed their willingness to establish further cooperation with us – says Anna Karyś-Sosińska, Member of the Management Board, Director of the Human Resources Management Division at Budimex SA.
Internships at Budimex are a great opportunity to perform interesting tasks and become part of the team responsible for the implementation of the largest projects in Poland. This year, the internship will be possible m.in. on construction sites: DCT T3 terminal
in Gdańsk, the S17 road in Zamość, or the Military Hospital in Krakow. For those who want to get to know the construction industry from a different side, Budimex has created an opportunity to gain experience in the following departments: PR, HR, IT and finance.
“Counting all editions, over 500 people participating in the Program have stayed with us for longer, which means that as many as one in three interns is employed by us. Today, as many as 54 of them hold managerial positions, and there are also people who – starting their internship several years ago – today they are directors – adds Anna Karyś-Sosińska.
Applications for the new edition of the Budimex Academy Internship Programme can be made via the www.akademiabudimex.pl website. It has been completely refreshed this year – it has gained a new graphic design, and in addition to the interns’ stories, there are new elements such as Q&A, a countdown clock until the start of the internship, as well as a section with descriptions of offices and constructions, so that candidates can get to know the company better. The recruitment game, the result of which is an element of the candidate’s assessment, has also changed – the application process has been shortened by limiting the game time. Currently, it consists of 12 questions and is divided into two areas: construction and office.
