The scope of work carried out by Budimex included the construction of a two-storey (including one underground storey) passenger terminal consisting of three wings.
The central point is the departures hall with the baggage and ticket check-in area. In the west wing there is the arrivals area, and in the east wing there is the departures area. The southern wing is occupied by the railway station and accompanying office rooms intended for the airport administration as well as customs and border services. A commercial zone is also available in the terminal. As part of the works, a two-storey building of the airport fire brigade and rescue services as well as a technical and garage building were also built. The total area of the facility is 15,322 m2, and its cubic capacity is 103,729 m3. The new terminal is able to accommodate 1 million passengers per year.
