Budimex designed and constructed a reserve-peak boiler room, ensuring full coverage of the heat demand during the heating season. The scope of work included: construction of a 3×30 MW peak-load boiler house and heating water pipeline infrastructure and light oil installation, along with the incorporation of the CHP plant into the existing network water system. In addition, Budimex modernised the mazut pumping station and adapted it to a new type of fuel (light oil), built a 1600 m3 light oil tank with infrastructure and an auxiliary system for heating the feed water for the existing boilers.
