Expansion of the Szczecin-Goleniów Airport
Budimex’s task was to expand and modernise the airport and port infrastructure, including road works, construction of a sanitary sewage system, construction of a rainwater drainage system, navigation lighting, construction of lighting for the Aircraft Parking Planes. As part of the works, a two-and-a-half-kilometer section of the runway and existing taxiways were renovated and modernized, and a parallel taxiway with a length of approx. 2.5 kilometers and 4 new taxiways (approx. 720 meters long). What is more, three aprons were renovated and expanded. The works also included sanitary and rainwater drainage, power networks, area lighting and navigation, cable and fiber optic networks.
