Budimex’s task was to build a congress and concert facility with over 2,000 seats, meeting the requirements of international congress organisations and the highest standards of acoustics and mechanics. The scope of work included earthworks, reinforced concrete and steel structures and finishing elements along with acoustics and stage automation.
The facility has, among others: 2,000 seats in the auditorium, 600 seats in the theater hall, 300 seats in the chamber hall and a multifunctional conference and exhibition space. What’s more, the building houses a three-level foyer with a view of the Vistula River and Wawel Castle. It is one of the most impressive buildings in modern Krakow. The cubic capacity is 280,474 m3, and the total area is 37,016 m2.
