The investment included the performance of construction works related to the construction of the Kraków Zabłocie – Kraków Podgórze railway connection. As part of the task, we rebuilt the track system of lines No. 91, 94, 603 and built a new line 624, which was run between the Kraków Zabłocie – Kraków Podgórze passenger stops on two railway flyovers with a length of 541 and 612 m. In addition, 6 other engineering structures were completed. We also built two new passenger stops, adapted to the needs of the disabled: Kraków Zabłocie and Kraków Podgórze (Krzemionki), together with platforms and accompanying infrastructure.

The investment also included: reconstruction of the overhead contact line, construction of traffic control equipment, construction of power and teletechnical networks, reconstruction of gas and water supply networks, construction of lighting, rainwater and sanitary sewage systems. As part of the contract, the accompanying road infrastructure was rebuilt, and acoustic screens were built. The execution of works in the very center of Krakow on the railway line in operation during construction required very good planning and extensive technical and organizational knowledge from our team. The construction won many awards, proving how spectacular and technically difficult the project was. The construction of the Kraków Zabłocie – Kraków Podgórze railway connection enabled direct trains on the Kraków Główny – Skawina route and further to Oświęcim and Zakopane.
