S5 – Wroczyn-Kościan
As part of the investment carried out in the “design and build” mode, 22 engineering structures and two road junctions were built: Czempin and Kościan Północ. The route has been equipped with two service areas “Kokorzyn” and “Sierakowo” as well as a network of access and technological roads. Budimex performed approximately 2.5 million m3 of earthworks and built 0.3 million tonnes of bituminous mass. During the implementation of the investment, innovative measurement methods were used – photogrammetry with the use of drones, 3D models, motion sensors, on-line monitoring of an automated method of securing the construction site, as well as a modernized process of weighing materials delivered to the construction site. The works were completed before the contract deadline.
