As part of the investment, Budimex completed the section from Kazimierzów to Nowy Dwór Gdański. The scope of work included, among others: construction of two road junctions, “Żuławy Wschód” and “Elbląg Zachód”, strengthening the ground in Żuławy, engineering structures and ensuring the stability of slopes, reconstruction of existing roads, construction of pedestrian and pedestrian and bicycle routes, as well as bays and bus stops, as well as construction of engineering structures: 14 bridges and viaducts (including 1 bridge over the Nogat River with a length of 600 m) and 11 culverts for small animals. The bridge over the Nogat River, the longest structure on this construction site, was made using the sliding method. Each kilometre of the over 19-kilometre route has been reinforced with technologies, e.g. prefabricated drains.
