As part of a consortium with Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe GmbH and Technicas Reunidas S.A., a separate power unit with a capacity of 447.5 MW was created, which operates on supercritical steam parameters. The generating unit is a single-pass, tower flow boiler with a pulverized furnace and a low-emission combustion chamber, which cooperates with a condensing steam turbine. The scope of work also included equipping the unit with the necessary technological systems, preparing the site, supplying elements, their assembly and commissioning.
