Wola Retro consists of three harmoniously composed buildings, one built in the 1930s, intended for adaptation into an office and service facility, and two completely new office buildings, combined with the historic buildings of Warsaw’s Wola district. As a result of the combination of the new building with the historic one, a total area of approx. 3300 m2 on one floor.
The building from 1939 is a timber frame structure, consisting of four above-ground and one underground storeys, while the newly built buildings are class A buildings with a height of 9 and 14 storeys and 2 underground storeys.
Wola Retro is an office complex equipped with many modern solutions: a large area of 1. floors (approx. 3300 m2 – the possibility of connecting the new building with its older part (floors 2 and 3), low common area ratio (4.9%), open patio (courtyard), service and commercial premises, CCTV system and the possibility of providing an emergency power source, full air conditioning and mechanical ventilation controlled from BMS.
For this project, Budimex received the “Construction of the Year 2020” award.
