A new place has been created in Ziębice, which has a chance to become the heart of local sports and cultural life. Budimex has just completed the construction of a modern sports and entertainment hall, which was officially opened on 24 October. This is a long-awaited investment – for over 20 years, residents have been waiting for a place where sport and culture will be able to develop at the highest level.
The hall in Ziębice is not only a modern space for sports, but also an entertainment center for residents. It will be possible to play volleyball, basketball or handball matches here, but also to organize concerts, boxing galas, shows and other cultural events. Almost 700 people can enjoy the shows from the stands, and well-thought-out solutions, such as telescopic folding stands, allow you to adapt the space to the needs of each event. The area of the hall is over 3.7 thousand square meters, and its height is 11.35 meters.
“We are glad that we could create a place that will serve the local community – both young people and adults, not only on a daily basis, but also on the occasion of special events” – says Andrzej Schmalenberg, Director of the Budimex SA Branch.
In the new hall you will find not only a pitch, but also a gym, training and conference rooms. It is a place designed with the convenience of users in mind – from athletes to organizers of various events. What is more, the hall is fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities, which means that everyone can use its facilities.
The hall has also been equipped with modern technologies, such as a photovoltaic installation, which makes the facility more environmentally friendly. Intelligent lighting system, monitoring, as well as audio-video installations
with a 5×3 m LED screen are additional elements that will provide an unforgettable experience for everyone who visits this unique facility.
Thanks to this investment, Ziębice has gained a modern space, which may soon become a place where sport and culture will meet, and the local community will find a space to spend time together and cheer on local teams.
The value of the contract was PLN 42 million. Work began in September 2022.
