Budimex SA has once again been indicated by contractors as the most construction company-friendly general contractor. This is yet another time when this company wins the “Construction Brand of the Year” ranking, but in this year’s edition of the ranking, Budimex SA became the leader in all four surveyed categories.
In the “Construction Brand of the Year 2024” ranking prepared by ASM Market Research and Analysis Centre, Budimex took first place as a general contractor. The company was unequivocally assessed by the contractors as the one with which cooperation is rated the best.
The preparation of the ranking, prepared by the ASM Market Research and Analysis Centre, covered over 50 product groups of building materials. In order to select the winners of the Construction Brand of the Year 2024, a total of 2351 interviews with contractors were conducted. The survey was carried out using the CATI method, i.e. telephone surveys.
The winner of the ranking was the brand that achieved the highest weighted score based on all 4 questions, i.e. about the assessment of cooperation, about the recommended general contractor, ensuring the highest safety standards on construction sites and ensuring the most favorable financial conditions and payment terms. In this year’s survey, Budimex achieved the highest score of positive indications in response to each of the questions. Thus, the company has gained recognition of representatives of the construction industry as “General Contractor who ensures the highest safety standards on construction sites”, “General Contractor with whom cooperation is rated the best”, “General Contractor, offering the most favorable financial conditions and timely payments” and “General Contractor recommended as the best partner for cooperation”.

Budimex SA is one of the signatories of the Agreement for Safety in the Construction Industry – an initiative established in 2010, bringing together the largest general contractors in Poland in order to increase the level of occupational safety in the construction industry. Budimex’s cooperation with subcontractors is organised in such a way as to guarantee that they receive all the funds included in the contract on time. In recent years, in addition to a transparent financial policy, the company has introduced numerous solutions, such as dividing payments into lower amounts and thus more frequent payments to subcontractors. Partnership relations with subcontractors also mean support and development of local entrepreneurs.

The organizer of the “Brand on the construction market” survey is ASM – Market Research and Analysis Center, a Polish company with the status of a research and development center. Since 2004, ASM has been conducting nationwide surveys among several thousand contractors, and based on the results, it announces a ranking for several dozen categories. The ranking was created 20 years ago as the only independent and wide-ranging research project in Poland.The study is based on spontaneous indications of contractors, without a list of brands to choose from. This makes the results fully objective and reliable.

The “Construction Brand of the Year” ranking is an annual research project undertaken by ASM Market Research and Analysis Centre, which allows to select brands of building materials and general contractors that enjoy the greatest trust of professionals and subcontractors. This is the only such ranking in Poland.
