Budimex was awarded the title of Construction Company of the Year by the jury of the Infrastructure and Construction Diamonds competition. Other general contractors were also among the nominees: Mirbud, Unibep, PORR and Strabag.

I would like to thank the jury of the competition, our subcontractors and partners, thousands of suppliers and contracting authorities. I would like to thank the employees and our friends from Ukraine,” he said during the award ceremony – Artur Popko, President of Budimex SA.

Last week, Budimex declared financial and organisational support for the families of employees residing in Ukraine, including bringing these families to Polish. Employees from Ukraine also received an offer of support in housing their loved ones in Poland. The general contractor has also guaranteed jobs for those Ukrainian citizens who will now have to return to their homeland.

Over 5 thousand people on our construction sites are employees from this country.  Just as they have supported us in recent years, we as the construction industry are obliged to help them in such a special situation. This award will motivate me and our people to continue working hard during this difficult period,” added the President of Budimex.
