Budimex has signed a contract for the construction of a flight simulator and flight staff training centre for the Ryanair group in Kraków. The value of the contract amounts to approx. PLN 41.2 million gross. Thanks to this investment, located in the immediate vicinity of the Kraków-Balice airport, 150 new training places in the aviation industry will be created. The project will enable the training of up to 500 people at the same time. The facility will start operating in 2025.
According to the contract, the main contractor has 12 months to complete the investment. The subject of the contract includes the comprehensive implementation (including the detailed design) of the pilot training center building, which will house the simulator hall and the administrative and social part.

The building, which will be able to accommodate up to 500 students, will be built in the immediate vicinity of Kraków’s Balice Airport. The investment, located a few hundred meters from the passenger terminal, will have a total area of 4,620 m2 and 23,250 m2 of cubic capacity alone. at the Ryanair simulator and training center will start in the second half of 2025.
The centre being built by Budimex will be equipped with 10 innovative flight simulators, will create over 150 new jobs and will train Boeing B737 pilots and Ryanair cabin crews from all over Europe.
