The works will begin after the contracting authority hands over the construction site and after the adverse weather conditions subside.
Budimex has 14 months from the date of signing the contract (until 1 April 2014) to implement the investment.
The scope of the contract includes the continuation of works interrupted by the previous contractor and repair works.
The following remains to be done:
– a 4 km long section of the motorway (road structure and bituminous mass laying),
– a two-level collision-free road junction with the S19 road,
– reconstruction of municipal roads crossing the motorway,
– collection roads,
– bridges and viaducts along the motorway and over the motorway along the S19 road and slip roads,
– relocation of technical infrastructure equipment colliding with the designed motorway,
– motorway maintenance circuit with infrastructure.
In the first place, repair works will be carried out on elements of the viaduct structures and in the building of the motorway maintenance circuit. If the weather conditions are favourable, repair works will also be carried out on the embankments and in places where the bituminous layer has been laid.

– repair works related to damage to slopes – approx. 152 thousand m. six.
– repair works related to the compaction of the upper layers of the embankment – approx. 350 thousand m. Kw.
– execution of layers of crushed aggregate (substructure, improved substrate under the surface structure) – approx. 70 thousand m. six.
– soil stabilization with cement – approx. 35 thousand m. six.
– execution of bituminous layers – approx. 99 thousand tons of mixture
– construction of acoustic screens – approx. 5.2 thousand m.kw.
– construction of four engineering structures in the line of transverse roads and slip roads
– construction of four engineering structures along the motorway (two motorway bridges, one motorway viaduct and one animal crossing).
Budimex is also the contractor for the neighbouring section of the A4 Rzeszów – Dębica and the section from Jarosław to Radymno.
