Budimex SA. signed a contract with the Public Transport Authority in Kielce for the construction of a communication center consisting in the reconstruction, expansion and modernization of the existing Bus Station complex at ul. Czarnowska 12.
The scope includes: demolition, modernization of the main body of the station, reconstruction of the passenger information system and reconstruction of the existing platforms. The facility will be thoroughly modernized and adapted to the highest standards of passenger service.
The specificity of this contract is its location. We will build the facility in the city center. The quality of implementation, deadlines and safety of this construction will be at the highest level, as in any investment carried out by Budimex – says Dariusz Blocher – President of the Management Board of Budimex SA.
The station building was put into use on July 20, 1984. The facility was transferred at the turn of 2016 and 2017 from PKS to the City of Kielce. Budimex will perform the works within 22 months from the date of conclusion of the contract. The gross value of the works will amount to PLN 68,717,839.26 (PLN 55,868,162 net).
