Budimex with another project in Pomerania

On 16 May 2025, Budimex, the leader of the construction industry in Poland, signed a contract for the implementation of another infrastructure project. It includes the expansion and reconstruction of the provincial road No. 221. The investor is the Provincial Roads Authority in Gdańsk, and the contract amounts to nearly 92 million net.

The scope of the investment includes the expansion and reconstruction of the provincial road No. 221 on the section from Janków to the Kościerzyna Bypass – Section B – section from the city of Kościerzyna. Kolbudy to the town of Przywidz divided into two sections: – section B1: from km approx. 14+645 to km 21+710 – section B2: from km 21+710 to km approx. 26+875. It concerns the extension of the existing roadway to a width of 7 meters, the construction of new intersections, pedestrian and bicycle routes, bus bays and the improvement of drainage. The project aims to improve road safety and increase the capacity of the route, which is an important transport corridor in the region. The implementation will take 540 days from the moment of signing the contract. The contract value is nearly PLN 92 million net.

This is another investment of Budimex in the region – the company is currently implementing, m.in, section of the S7 expressway between Chwaszczyno and Żukowo. Budimex is strengthening its position as a strategic partner for public and local government investors, implementing key infrastructure projects that support Polish’s transport development and improve the safety of road users.
