Azalia – a special purpose vehicle of BXF Energia from the Budimex Group, established to implement a photovoltaic farm project with a total capacity of up to 60 MW – has obtained financing from mBank in the project finance formula. This is the next stage in the development of the Budimex Group’s investments in renewable energy sources.
The investment will be implemented in the Subcarpathian region, near Rzeszów. The financing will enable the construction of the power plant and the necessary connection infrastructure. The loan agreement, signed on 30 May, includes an investment loan in the amount of PLN 130.5 million, as well as a working capital loan for VAT financing and a guarantee limit. The loan repayment was planned for 16 years of the farm’s operation.
By the end of 2025, the Budimex Group plans to have nearly 100 MW of installed capacity in photovoltaic and wind power plants, which will produce and supply green energy both for external customers and for its own needs. The project meets the sustainability criteria set out in the EU Taxonomy.
