The modern didactic complex of the Vocational and Continuing Education Center in Radom, which houses the Post-Secondary Medical School, has been put into use. The investment carried out by Budimex included the construction of a facility equipped with specialist laboratories, medical simulation rooms and pro-ecological solutions. The value of the contract amounted to PLN 59.9 million gross.
Budimex SA has completed the implementation of the investment at 3 Kelles-Krauza Street in Radom. The contract for the execution of works was signed on September 4, 2023, while the final acceptance of the Investment took place on May 12, 2026. The project included a comprehensive expansion and modernization of the existing headquarters of the CKZiU Post-Secondary Medical School.
As part of the Investment, a new, five-storey wing was built connected to the existing school building, and the existing part of the building was thoroughly rebuilt and adapted to the current technical conditions. The new infrastructure includes specialist medical laboratories, laboratories, practical exercise rooms and medical simulation rooms that replicate working conditions in hospitals. The staff also has a lecture hall, a sports room , a computer lab and an underground car park at their disposal. The new communication system equipped with two elevators and a staircase platform allows comfortable movement and access to the facility for people with disabilities. The internal patio, the connector between the buildings and the roof of the new building were made in the form of green terraces.
Due to the tight buildings and location in the city center, the Medyk Extension was a demanding undertaking that required precise planning of works, close inter-branch coordination, while ensuring safety for the inhabitants of Radom. Building facilities for Polish health care
The new teaching complex has been equipped with solutions that reduce energy consumption and reduce the building’s environmental impact. The building is topped with a green roof with a recreational terrace for students and staff. A photovoltaic installation and a rainwater recovery and use system have been installed. Modern technical installations and high-quality thermal insulation have also been used, thanks to which the facility is one of the most modern and ecological educational buildings in the region.

The last Parent Zone was opened at the Otolaryngology Clinic of the National Institute of Children’s Diseases in Bratislava, while the last one implemented in Poland was the 44th Pediatric Zone.
