Official opening of the Congress Centre in Krakow

On 17 October 2014, the ICE Congress Centre in Krakow was officially opened at 17 Konopnicka Street, at the Grunwaldzki roundabout.

The architectural design of the building was created in the Ingarden & Ewy Architekci studio in consultation with the Japanese company Arata Isozaki & Associates. The general contractor of the investment was Budimex.

The Congress Centre has over 36 thousand. m.kw. of space and was built in a way that allows for the organization of three different events at the same time.

The auditorium has 2000 seats, the theater hall 600, and the chamber hall – 400. In addition, the building has over 500 square meters of conference rooms with a 3-level foyer. The two-storey, underground car park can accommodate 348 cars.

The construction of the Congress Centre began in October 2012. The contract value is PLN 258 million net.
