Signing of a contract for the construction of the Military Clinical Hospital building in Krakow

On 8 November, Budimex signed a contract with the contracting authority – the 5th Military Clinical Hospital with the Polyclinic SP ZOZ in Kraków for the construction of a hospital building for the needs of the operating theatre, hospital wards, diagnostic and laboratory facilities and rehabilitation, along with the delivery of equipment.

The subject of the contract is “Construction of a hospital building for the needs of the operating theatre, hospital wards, diagnostic and laboratory facilities and rehabilitation on the premises of the 5th Military Clinical Hospital with Polyclinic in Krakow Independent Public Health Care Facility ul. Wrocławska 1-3”, including obtaining the necessary required permits, consents, arrangements and all other documents necessary to obtain an occupancy permit.

The investment consists in the construction of a new integrated operating block (ZBO) building connected to the existing building No. 4 and a new connector building (P), which indirectly connects the ZBO building with the existing buildings No. 7 and 8.

The usable area is: 27,111.01  m2,

Cubic volume: 137,789.77 m3,

The completion date of the works is planned for the end of November 2026.

The value of the offer is PLN 367.51 million net.

In recent months , he has successfully completed the construction of the Silesian Planetarium in Chorzów, as well as the first stage of the construction of the “Polfa” Oncological Drugs Factory in Warsaw’s Tarchomin. Currently, Budimex is in the process of building m.in. PepsiCo’s largest production plant in Poland, which is being built in Środa Śląska.
