The consortium of Budimex and Strabag signs a contract for the construction of the S14 section (western bypass of Łódź)
On 5 October 2018, an agreement was concluded between the consortium of Budimex SA (Consortium Leader – 50%) and Strabag Sp. z o.o. (Consortium Partner – 50%) and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Branch in Łódź for: Design and construction of the S14 expressway of the Western Bypass of Łódź, Zad. A – Section I, the “Łódź Lublinek” junction – the “Łódź Teofilów” junction, Zad. B – Section II “Łódź Teofilów” junction (without the junction) – DK91 in Słowik town within the scope of Part No. 1 of the contract: “Design and construction of the S14 expressway of the Western Bypass of Łódź Zad. A – Section I, the “Łódź Lublinek” junction – the “Łódź Teofilów” junction.
The consortium will build a 12-kilometre (southern) section of the S14 in the “Design and Build” system. The net value of the contract is PLN 456,748,863.00. The completion date is 32 months from the date of conclusion of the contract (including obtaining the occupancy permit).

These are m.in. design and construction of the Suwałki bypass, the Independence Route in Białystok or the Łagiewnicka Route in Krakow. BUDIMEX, employing over 6.5 thousand. people, builds every third kilometer of expressways and motorways in Poland.
