The first hospitals have already received support from Budimex

Budimex has already launched the first tranche of financial aid from the announced PLN 1 million for hospitals, which it declared by joining the “We are together. We help”. The first to receive support were hospitals in Wałbrzych, Racibórz and Warsaw. In these regions, the number of infected is currently the highest. Other institutions will receive funds in the next three weeks.

Each of the hospitals received funds in the form of a non-refundable donation to support the purchase of medical equipment and personal protective equipment needed in the fight against the coronavirus. The following have already received assistance:
– District Hospital im. Dr. Józef Rostek in Racibórz
– Specialist Hospital im. Dr. Alfred Sokołowski in Wałbrzych
– Provincial Infectious Diseases Hospital in Warsaw
All these facilities are involved in the treatment of patients infected with the SARS-Cov-2 virus. More hospitals will soon receive support.

Budimex announced support for hospitals and health care in the second half of March. In the coming weeks, we will support more hospitals in other provinces. Especially where this help is most needed. Last week, Budimex announced that it wants to carry out all construction sites while maintaining comprehensive safety rules. In Wałbrzych, Budimex is the general contractor of the city’s bypass, and in Racibórz it is just finishing the construction of a flood control reservoir for the upper Oder. In Warsaw, it implements several residential construction contracts and investments of the municipal MPWIK, energy and airport. The company has already supported the hospital in Racibórz. In August 2018, she created a Parent Zone in the children’s ward of this facility, i.e. a comfortable place for parents and their children staying in the hospital.
