The Budimex Group and its partners are once again involved in helping families in a difficult life situation. This time, a modern, modular house will be built for Mrs. Teresa from Wołomin, who has experienced many tragedies in her life. This unique initiative shows the power of joint action and the heart to help.

In this year’s edition of the project, the Budimex Group and its partners decided to support Ms Teresa from Wołomin. Her story is proof of extraordinary strength of spirit – the woman experienced a tragic fire that burned down her house, and before that she had to face personal losses while saying goodbye to her husband and son. Despite these difficulties, Teresa never lost faith in people and willingness to work. In December, thanks to the commitment of companies and people with big hearts, it will open the door to a new, safe home.

From heart to heart – A new chapter in the life of Mrs. Teresa

Mrs. Teresa is a person who, despite numerous adversities, managed to maintain extraordinary cheerfulness and energy. For years, she has been working for one of the partners of the Budimex Group, where she is known as a warm and hard-working person, always ready to help others. Her determination, as well as her optimism, made this story touch the hearts of many people.

“When we heard about Teresa’s situation, we could not remain indifferent,” says Artur Popko, President of the Management Board of Budimex SA. “For us, ‘Home from the Heart’ is more than just a project – it is a way to restore hope and stability. It’s a house,
in which every proverbial brick brings support and care
he adds.

Modular house – innovation in quick construction

One of the unique aspects of this year’s edition is the use of a modern modular house developed by Mostostal Kraków – a company belonging to the Budimex group, whose pillar of business activity is primarily prefabrication, delivery and assembly of steel structures. Modular houses, are being built
from prefabricated elements produced in the factory. They are only assembled on site. This significantly shortens the lead time, and the factory production conditions make modular houses characterized by a high degree of energy efficiency and accuracy.

– The modular house that we are creating for Teresa is an example of modern solutions in construction, which are perfect for a situation where we care about time and do not want to give up quality – says Tomasz Guzik, Member of the Management Board of Mostostal Kraków.

The house that will be built in Wołomin, although modern, has been designed to emanate warmth and coziness. Inside, there will be spaces tailored to her needs, which will allow her to start a new chapter of life in comfortable conditions.

Multi-level collaboration

The third edition of “House from the Heart” is the result of cooperation between many companies that joined forces to help Teresa. The project is attended by, among m.in, Mostostal Kraków, Soletanche, Kombud, HABA-Beton Polska, FBSerwis, BIAP, Duet, Wiśniowski, Grodno and Sigma. Each partner contributed – from materials for construction to financial support.

– Kombud Group has been involved in charity and social activities for many years. That is why we are supporting this year’s edition of the “House from the Heart” project, which aims to improve the living conditions of the most needy.  We want to support selected campaigns more broadly than just in the area of our activity as part of corporate social responsibility – says Anna Szczygielska, Member of the Management Board of Kombud Group SA.

– As Soletanche Polska, we were happy to join the “House from the Heart” campaign. Activities such as this project allow us to really and tangibly support people in need, translating our values into concrete results. Involvement in charitable initiatives is also an opportunity to build authentic relationships with the environment, which is a key element of our sustainable development strategy. In addition, this project is an excellent opportunity to deepen relations with our long-term business partner, Budimex, with whom we build investments that are also important for the environment – adds Hubert Tomczak, Managing Director of Soletanche Polska.

Completion of construction this year

The construction of the house is nearing completion. The project will be finalized before the end of the year, which will allow Mrs. Teresa to spend the upcoming Christmas in a new, safe home. ” Every detail, every decision in this project was aimed at creating a space for Teresa in which she would feel good,” emphasise the representatives of the Budimex Group.

The “House from the Heart” campaign is a unique proof of how the joint work of many committed people can contribute to the creation of something beautiful – a house built not only from materials, but also from the heart.
