It’s certain! As part of the social program “Parent Zone. Budimex for Children” Budimex SA will adapt and adapt spaces in another 4 children’s hospitals. This means that soon four new points on the map of Polish will join the remaining 32 zones. Since 2013, colorful spaces and specially designed amenities have served thousands of hospitalized children and their parents.
Creating comfortable conditions for parents and caregivers of young patients to stay in the hospital, and thus improving the well-being of children and facilitating their faster recovery is the main goal of the original and unique social program “Parent Zone. Budimex for Children”. The program also has a broader educational dimension – it promotes emotional benefits and support for the treatment process resulting from the parent’s presence with the child during his or her hospitalization.
The “Parent Zone. Budimex for Children” is carried out in children’s wards where there is a real need to create a special space. It is important that as many patients and parents as possible can use such places. “The safety and health of children is a priority in Budimex’s social activities. Since 2013, we have created 32 Parent Zones in Polish hospitals, and each of the implemented spaces is different, responding to the individual needs of the hospital – emphasizes Katarzyna Wójcik, an expert on communication in Budimex.
In 2020, Budimex SA will organise 4 editions of the “Parent Zone. Budimex for Children”. Soon there will be an official opening of the 33. Parent Zones. We will inform you about the place and details of this action soon. As usual, on the day of the finale, employees – volunteers from Budimex – will join in the final works. The opening will be attended by, among others: patients and their caregivers, representatives of the hospital, local authorities, media and guests.
