Budimex is responsible for the construction of the Tri-City Metropolitan Bypass – a key infrastructure investment in the northern part of the country. m.in have already been completed. All load-bearing structures of engineering structures and the works at the moment are focused on laying layers of the surface structure from mineral and asphalt mixtures. The project is expected to be completed in April 2025.
The construction of the Tri-City Metropolitan Bypass has been divided into two parts. The first task that is being carried out by Budimex is the section from the Chwaszczyno junction (without the junction) to the Żukowo junction (without the junction) section with a length of 16.3 km. As part of the contract, by April 2025, a dual carriageway expressway will be built with two lanes in each direction, a reserve for the third lane, the “Miszewo” and “Chwaszczyno” road junctions, the Miszewo region, as well as m.in. 28 engineering structures. The contract is being implemented by Budimex in the “Design and Build” formula.

Works at the OMT are entering the finishing phase. All the necessary materials have been collected, including reinforcement for the installation of noise barriers, a drainage system for the main road route is being made along with rainwater drainage outlets
The earthworks on the contract have entered the final phase. In addition, the construction of all 28 load-bearing structures of engineering structures was completed. In total, nearly 43 thousandm3 of concrete has already been built.
Budimex is the main road contractor in Poland, which implements on average every fourth kilometre of expressways in the country. The leader of the construction industry has achieved the progress of works on the Tri-City Metropolitan Bypass reaching the level of 80%. The road works of the investment include 16.5 km of the main S-class road, 15.5 km of service and access roads, the performance of over 3 million earthworks and over 230 thousand zlotys. m3 of land exchanges.
