After 20 years, the Budimex Group returns to the WIG-20 index – the largest companies listed on the Polish Stock Exchange.

Budimex’s entry into the WIG20 index is an expression of appreciation for over seven thousand of our employees – their passion, commitment and building the value of the company and our Group.

Budimex’s development is supported by a long-term strategy. Diversification of services and markets on which the company operates. Budimex made its debut on the stock exchange in 1995 and in the early years belonged to the group of the so-called blue chips (note to 2004). Later, as a result of the development of the capital market and the increase in the number of issuers on the stock exchange, the company belonged to smaller national indices. Along with the economic development of the country, Budimex also developed. For 15 years, we have been regularly sharing profits with shareholders and taxes in Poland. We are characterized by long-term profitability and stable business. We do this responsibly, respecting all our stakeholders and the environment. We would like to thank our people, shareholders, customers and business partners for their trust and support, which are the driving force behind our development.

The return to the WIG20 after a 20-year break confirms the position on the domestic stock market. Joining this group is not only prestige, but also new challenges and opportunities. We are convinced that our presence in the WIG20 index will gain additional visibility for domestic and foreign investors. It is also a responsibility and obligation for the development of the Polish capital market and the Polish economy, of which we are an important part.
