Budimex has been honoured in the prestigious competition for the best circular economy solutions (CE), organised by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. The aim of the competition is to promote innovative and sustainable circular economy practices, focusing on environmental, economic, social and governance benefits. The award recognises the company’s commitment to sustainability.
The solution for which Budimex received the award is called “Implementation of an innovative technology of mineral and asphalt mixtures with the use of recycled material of asphalt pavement”. The aim of this project was to indicate the direction of development in the field of building materials and recycling. In the opinion of the competition jury, the actions taken by Budimex are in line with the idea of cooperation within supply chains, build the company’s efficiency based on environmental, social and organisational culture principles, and contribute to the development of cooperation with stakeholders, as well as building the resilience of enterprises to the crisis.

The winners of the PARP competition receive financial prizes in the amount of PLN 20 thousand. PLN. Budimex will allocate this amount for further development of the project.
