• ensure safe and hygienic working conditions that will effectively prevent accidents, near-misses and occupational diseases for employees of companies and subcontractors and maintain a high level of occupational safety
• ensure that the context of the organization, including all stakeholders and associated risks and opportunities, is appropriate to the scope of the business;
• ensure supervision and reduction of occupational health and safety risks in accordance with the principle of hierarchy of supervision;
• monitor and strictly comply with applicable legal and other regulations in the field of occupational health and safety and related to the company’s operations;
• provide appropriate training to employees of Group companies to continuously raise their commitment and awareness for improving working conditions and building leadership at every organizational level;
• create conditions for all employees, their representatives to be consulted and participate in the creation of shared safety by supporting initiatives to improve health and safety processes;
• continuously improve the OSH management system by sharing the best available practices to prevent incidents and build an OSH culture.

Every action that can have a positive impact on occupational health and safety is supported by the Boards of Directors of Group companies. Human resources management plays a key role in the implementation of the strategy, particularly the proper selection of suppliers and the provision of competent occupational health and safety services committed to the continuous improvement of occupational health and safety processes. The policy applies to all employees of the companies and its suppliers, who have been obliged to apply the standards, applicable procedures, instructions, safety plans and specificity-appropriate OHS Plans. Every employee of the Budimex Group, regardless of their place in the company’s organizational structure, should be dedicated to the improvement of occupational health and safety.
