Budimex has built a pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the Vistula River, which connects the centre of Warsaw with Praga Północ. This bridge is 452 meters high, it is the longest crossing for pedestrians and cyclists in Poland and one of the largest investments of this type in Europe. The single-level, pedestrian and bicycle crossing over the Vistula is made of steel covered with corten-colored paint. At its widest point, the bridge is to measure 16.3 m, while at its narrowest it is 6.9 m wide. The structure has LED lighting built into the railings, and surveillance cameras have also been installed. The facility is fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities with reduced mobility. Two zones for relaxation are also to be separated on the bridge. A crossing that fits in with the concept of the New Center of Warsaw.
